 Scott Basnet: We will apply maximum economic pressure on Iran

US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant said in an interview with Fox News: "On Iran, we are committed to restoring Iranian oil exports to 100,000 barrels per day... The Chinese and probably the Indians are buying Iranian sanctioned oil, and that is unacceptable."

 He added: "Iran is facing severe inflation and a huge budget deficit, while selling 1.6 million barrels of oil per day. If we increase Iran's oil exports to the level of 100,000 barrels per day, I believe they will face a severe economic crisis."
