I stayed at home until almost noon. Hajiya Walde, who had an eye surgery, was transferred to Mahmoud's brother's house. I asked them how they were and they said that they were fine and satisfied. The doctor said that if he had operated a week later, the eye would have been incurable.

I went to their house before noon to visit Imam. Mr. Khamenei also came and the meeting was long. Mr. Khamenei asked for his help regarding the observance of discipline in the courts of the revolution, and the Imam reminded him to speed up the removal of non-Islamic laws.

I talked about the limitation of the IRGC in the new constitution and the dissatisfaction of the IRGC. The Imam said that they should not be weakened and be subject to the rules. The situation of Mr. Shariatmadari was also discussed. We learned that [Mohammed Javad] Manaqabi was also arrested.

We were guests of Ahmad Agha for lunch. In the evening, when we were leaving, we saw the imam in the yard and we talked privately, and I offered to pardon the coup accused, including [Sadiq] Qutbzadeh. I recorded the answers to the Republican party's questions on tape.
