In the afternoon, Mr. [Abd al-Karim] Mousavi Ardabili and Mr. [Syedhasan] Taheri Khorramabadi came and said, Ayatollah [Hossein Ali] Montazeri wants the Imam to be told to drop the issue of Mr. Shariatmadari from this passion.
I studied until nine o'clock in the morning and then went to my office for meetings and administrative work. Some representatives came for their work. Then I had a few meetings. Mr. [Mohsen] Rezaei, the commander of the IRGC, informed that our offensive operations will begin soon in the fronts of Ahvaz, Khorramshahr, Abadan and Karkheh Noor.
