Speaking to the "Pod Force One" podcast about the leader of the Islamic Republic, Trump said: "I’d like to meet with him, and we probably will meet at some point, depending on how everything goes."
Trump also admitted that he had a harsh conversation with Benjamin Netanyahu: "Yes, I did. I won't say I was angry, but I was a bit perturbed by his permanent war with Lebanon."
The U.S. President stated that he gets along well with the Israeli Prime Minister.
The Axios news website wrote yesterday that during a phone call on Sunday night, Donald Trump called Benjamin Netanyahu "crazy": "You are ... crazy. If it weren't for me, you'd be in prison right now ... Everyone hates you now. Everyone hates Israel because of this."
