Senior Hamas Member: If I Had Known That The October 7 Attack Would Cause Such Destruction, I Would Have Opposed It

 Musa Abu Marzouq, head of Hamas' foreign relations office, told the New York Times:

If I had known how devastating this attack on Gaza would be, I would not have supported the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel.

If I had known that Gaza was suffering from destruction, it would have been impossible for me to support this attack.

Hamas is ready to negotiate the future of its weapons in Gaza.
