Hamed Esmailiyon, a human rights activist and one of the bereaved families of the Ukrainian plane and a prominent figure of the opposition of the Islamic Republic for the past 7 months, published a statement on Twitter about the "external pressure" on the members of the "Georgetown Group" and explained it under the title "Report to "People" has openly announced its withdrawal from this coalition.

He said in this statement: "Unfortunately, the work in this field did not go well in the solidarity group. Pressure groups from outside the group tried to impose their positions on the group with undemocratic methods. The imposition of opinion is not included in democracy, and the agreement of group members, not just a member of it, is a condition of democratic movement.
