Over the past few years, my administration has pursued a serious policy of sanctioning Assad for not engaging in a serious political process.
We will support Syria's neighbors, including Jordan, Iraq, Israel and Lebanon.
We will work with all Syrian groups within the framework of the U.N.
We will not allow Syria to become a safe haven for ISIS. We will work to "protect our forces in Syria" and "continue our mission against ISIS"!
