The statement said that a recent report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirms that Iran continues to "violate its commitments" under the JCPOA.

The three countries said that over the past five years, Iran has taken its nuclear activities to higher levels, which is "unprecedented for a country without a nuclear weapons programme".

In another part of the statement, it is said that Iran refuses to accept the IAEA inspectors and does not implement the joint statement of March 4 two years ago (2023).

On this basis, they have said, "the IAEA cannot guarantee the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program."

The three countries, Germany, Britain and France, say that during the reporting period, Iran continued to enrich uranium far beyond what it committed to under the JCPOA.
