Israel took a unilateral action against Iran tonight.  We did not interfere in the attacks and our priority is to protect US forces in the region.  Israel told us that he believes that this is necessary to defend itself.  Trump and the US government have taken all the necessary steps to protect our troops in the region, and we are closely related to our regional partners.  Iran should not target US interests or personnel in the region.
