Beit Montazeri's statement about the country's situation

In the name of Allah, the Merciful

The happy presence of the noble people of Iran
After saying hello and courtesy; The chaotic situation of our dear country Iran is not hidden from anyone. In this regard, I present some things:

1- There has been a lot of talk about what happened to get into this situation and everyone is fully aware of it.
Now is the time to think together to solve the problem and everyone who has a heart for this country and the freedom and prosperity of this country and can take action to solve the existing crisis should not fail.

2- The shedding of one person's blood is so important that the words of revelation and the Holy Qur'an have said: "Whoever kills another soul or corrupts the earth will not kill all people and whoever revives them will die." We did not live all the people."

The bloody tragedies that occurred in many parts of Iran, especially in Baluchistan, Izeh, and Kurdistan, are a source of great regret and shame.

3- Imitative authorities had the first word in this country for centuries, and the people listened to their orders; However, since the first year of the victory of the revolution, dealing with the critics started started with the illegal detention of the eminent scholars Sayyed Hasan Qomi and Sayyed Kazem Shariatmadari and continued to silence them in any way possible. Now things have reached a point where when people from those nobles make comments and offer solutions to end the crisis in the society, they are attacked by the authorities who do not like those words and they are not afraid of insults and accusations against those dear ones.

The late Montazeri, who always considered himself committed and responsible, in the last months of his life, wrote in a letter to scholars and religious authorities: "I....now in front of the informed people of Iran because of the oppressions that have been perpetrated under this name and title [Islamic Government] They leave feeling ashamed and I find myself responsible in front of the great God and reproached in front of the shed blood of dear martyrs and violations of the rights of innocent people. (views, vol. 3, p. 429)

We humbly ask the supreme authorities to comment on the current affairs where the religion and the country are in danger.

4- Opportunities pass like a cloud and if no basic action is taken, we will inevitably be caught in a civil war. If the ruling body of the Islamic Republic of Iran is really looking for a basic solution, they should allow the referendum according to the constitution, because this is the main desire of the honorable people of Iran.
If this important thing is done, there is no doubt that this great and history-making decision will remain as a positive and effective model in the case of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the grateful people of Iran will always be grateful now and in the future.
