Fariba Tavakoli's lawyer has been summoned and charged by the Tehran Security Prosecutor's Office.

According to the report of Lawyers Press, lawyer Fariba Tawakli (member of Center Bar Association) was summoned to the Security Prosecutor's Office at the beginning of February on the charge of propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This lawyer is now free with the introduction of a guarantor and his acceptance by Branch 5 of the Shahid Moghads Prosecutor's Office (security) in Tehran.

In the records of Fariba Tavakoli, it is recorded that he acted as a lawyer for a number of well-known journalists in the seventies; Journalists who were prosecuted and arrested by the prosecutor of Tehran (Saeed Mortazavi).
