I met with members of the Islamic Coalition Committees, where we discussed political, economic, and administrative issues. I met with Mr. [Mohammad] Salehi, the jurist member of the Guardian Council, who was concerned about the nationalization of the country's economy and the failure to implement approved measures; I reassured him. Late at night, I came home. Saeed [Lahouti] had also returned from the garrison and told me about the situation there.
