At nine o'clock in the morning, we went to the Palace of Justice for the swearing-in ceremony of 500 newly hired judges. Mr. [Mousavi] Ardabili and Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei and I spoke briefly. At ten o'clock, I went to the Majlis dentist to put on a dental crown. It took a lot of time and it is not set. Mr. [Akbar] Turkan, the new CEO of military industries, came and gave a report on the state of the industries and consulted about his work policy and important issues of the industries.

In the afternoon, Mr. [Abbas] Dozdozani came with a young genius who claims to be 16 years old and in the second grade of mathematics, at the master's level and is still teaching at Shiraz University. He was suggested to go abroad for research. The authorities give the possibility of kidnapping him abroad. He came to consult me. We decided to provide him with the means of research inside.

In the evening, the members of the five-year plan commission and experts from the Ministry of Planning and Budget came. We agreed on the next two-year plan - the rest of which is five years. Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei said that after not agreeing with the prime minister about the ministers, they will not refer to the ruling board, but the prime minister will do it. Ahmad Agha informed that the imam wanted to speed up the introduction of the cabinet. We told the Prime Minister to refer it.
