This single article has taken three days already, and it will take at least one more day. I spent the whole day studying.
At noon I spoke with the President by phone. We talked about future work and establishing the organization for compiling the history of the Revolution, and about obtaining the documents related to the vice court proceedings from the Prosecutor General, and he informed me that a film by Qeys had been prepared and that it was arranged for me to watch it on Wednesday. Fati went to the [Islamic Republican] Party, and I stayed alone.
Early in the evening Ahmad Agha came, and we talked about how well the elections had been conducted. Overall, they turned out very well. In many cases, even the number of participants was higher than in the referendum [of April 1, 1979], even though the enemies tried very hard to reduce turnout. At night I worked for a while with Mehdi and Yaser; they have exams tomorrow. I also gave an interview to the Negahban publication.
