Complete Daily Entry:

For the Eid al-Fitr ceremony, we went to the Leader's office. As usual, a group of national figures gathers a few minutes before the official ceremony in his office and then collectively heads to the assembly hall. The ceremony was dry and ceremonial. Mr. Seyed Mohammad Khatami spoke a few words, and the Leader repeated part of his statements from today's Eid prayer.

I returned to my office and stayed for a few minutes. Mr. Abdulvahed Mousavi Lari, the Minister of Interior, and Mr. Seyed Mahmoud Dowai, the head of the Etela'at Institute, came to congratulate me on Eid. I then went home, where part of the family was gathered for lunch. The afternoon and evening were spent reading and receiving some relatives who came to offer their Eid congratulations.

Mr. Hadi Tabatabai criticized the issues related to labor law and the harassment of workers and institutions towards employers in industries.

I edited the text of an interview I conducted with Matin magazine for publication. I also revised the draft response to the statements made by the Kayhan newspaper and Mr. Ali Motahari, who wrote incorrect remarks about my family.
