بیانیه خانواده‌ی امام موسی صدر در خصوص اخبار جدید درباره امام صدر

In response to what has been discussed on social media regarding the possibility of Imam Musa Sadr being present in one of the prisons in Syria.

In response to the rumors circulating on social media regarding the possible presence of Imam Musa Sadr in one of the prisons in Syria, it is important to clarify that none of these reports are true and lack any credible or reliable source.

In any case, we are following up on the situation and monitoring all events, as we firmly believe that Imam Sadr and his two companions, Sheikh Mohammed Yacoub and journalist Abbas Badreddine, are still in detention somewhere in Libya. This belief is based on the results of judicial investigations, statements from Libyan officials after the revolution, including the confessions of Gaddafi's son, as well as the exact text of the official memorandum signed in 2014.

The Imam's family, while appreciating the sincere feelings of those who are waiting for the return of Imam Sadr and his two companions, takes this opportunity to call on Libyan authorities, particularly the judiciary, to cooperate with the official committee handling the case and to fulfill their duties according to the memorandum. They should abandon policies of procrastination, bargaining, and neglecting their commitments.

In these sensitive and difficult circumstances, we feel more than ever that the presence of Imam Sadr in Lebanon is essential for the country, the region, and even the world. For this reason, we ask the Imam's supporters to pray for his return and that of his companions. Indeed, God is capable of all things.
