The Court of Administrative Justice overturned the verdict of Skoda's conviction for overselling in the bar exam

With the decision of Branch 38 of the Court of Administrative Justice, the ruling of the First Branch of the Appeals of the Government Penitentiary of Tehran Province against Skoda was reversed and the case was returned to the authority issuing the final decision for reconsideration.

This case was related to a complaint filed in 2023 by Farshid Farahnakian, a former member of the board of directors of the Central Bar Association, against Skoda on charges of overselling in the 2023 bar exam.

The registration fee for each candidate in this exam was 400,000 Tomans.

Ultimately, Skoda was sentenced to a fine of 24 billion tomans by Branch 63 of the State Penal Organization. The decision of Branch 63 was upheld by the First Branch of the Appeals of the Government Penitentiary of Tehran Province.

Reduction of Skoda's conviction in the case of overselling in the 1402 bar exam to 24 billion tomans

According to yesterday's judgment of Branch 63 of the First Instance of the State Penal Organization regarding Skoda's appeal in the case of overselling in the 1402 bar exam, Skoda's conviction in this case has been reduced from 120 billion tomans to 24 billion tomans.

Previously, in a decision on February 12, 2024, Branch 63 of the State Penal Organization had sentenced the National Union of Iranian Bar Associations to pay a fine of 120 billion tomans for the accusation of overselling in the 2023 bar exam, which was granted.

Finally, according to yesterday's judgment of Branch 63 of the First Instance of the State Penal Organization regarding the appeal of Skoda in the case of overselling in the 1402 bar exam, the pictures of which are shown in the link below, the National Union of Iranian Bar Associations (SKODA) has sealed the license of the unit with the stamp of "first violation" and paid a fine of 240,000,000,000 (two hundred and forty billion Rials) to the account of the government treasury (equivalent to more than two times the amount of overselling as The minimum legal penalty of the petition and the petition) has been convicted.

Also, in this judgment, which was issued yesterday, it has been announced that the verdict issued by the defendant and the plaintiff can be appealed to the appeals branches within ten days, and after that, it will be final.
