Do you remember my note about the trial of the children of Sheikh Mohammad Sadegh, the former First Deputy Head of the Judiciary, by Judge Garavand, the former Deputy Prosecutor of Ahvaz General and Revolutionary Court,

I wanted to say that Judge Dr. Farrokhnia Garavand, formerly of the judiciary, is now the head of the Tehran Special Judicial Complex for Handling Economic Crimes, who today, accompanied by the Chief Justice of Tehran Province, visited the Greater Tehran Prison along with the heads of other Tehran judicial complexes and spoke with the defendants and convicts under the jurisdiction of his court.

It is interesting that the session was presided over by Judge “Garavand,” the former deputy prosecutor of Ahvaz General and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office, who was removed from that position with certain indications and transferred to Tehran on the recommendation of a certain judiciary official and, with further recommendations, while being assigned to adjudicate Branch 1064 of Tehran Criminal Court 2 at the important Economic Affairs Judicial Complex, rose to become the judicial deputy of the head of the courts and changed his surname to “Farrokh-Nia”.
