Mr. [Abdollah] Emami, the representative of Torbat-e Heydarieh, asked for assistance with treatment abroad, which I arranged. In the afternoon, we had a class on positions. I entrusted the public session to Mr. [Mohammad] Yazdi and came to my office to take care of the pending tasks. Mr. [Abdollah] Emami, representative of Torbat-e Heydarieh, asked for assistance with medical treatment abroad, which I arranged.

In the afternoon, we had the Positions class. Mr. [Abdolrahim] Govahi, our ambassador to Japan, also came and gave a report. Mr. [Mohammad-Hassan] Asgharniya, governor of Kurdistan, also came and reported on his disagreements with the institutions. I gave an interview to IRIB about the Assembly of Experts.

[Mr. Jalaleddin Taheri], the Friday prayer leader of Isfahan, called and said that there was no need for the Assembly of Experts because the leadership of Ayatollah [Hossein-Ali] Montazeri was clear. At night, the refinery officials came and spoke about the successes, and I spoke to them and discussed the reconstruction of the Abadan refinery. Late at night, I came home. Effat was upset. We went to Imam's residence to have the tape taken again. Dr. Imam examined him and found him healthy.
