Early in the morning, I went to the Majlis. The supplementary budget bill was on the agenda. I entrusted the session to Mr. [Mohammad] Yazdi. I came to my office. In the Majlis, some representatives were protesting the dispatch of a delegation by the President to Moscow to attend Brezhnev's funeral.
I had several meetings at noon. In the afternoon, I attended the Rules of Procedure Commission meeting.

The new phase of the war and our entry into Iraqi territory, and the position of the Cooperation Council of the Arab countries of the southern Persian Gulf toward us, are the subjects of discussion in political and news circles. It seems that the Arab countries have become frightened, but so far they have not taken any decision against us.
