Saffarian, the head of Mr. Karroubi's office, asked me to help solve the problem of unemployment, foreign policy, the problem with the United States, the pressure on the national-religious people, and the development of tourism. I said that the right path is the same policy of constructivism that has been weakened by the left and the right, and if it is the axis of constructivism, most of these things will be solved.

A group of officials of Shahriar Physical Education, along with the Friday Imam and [a group] of students [of Shahriar Physical Education Vocational School, students and coaches of Imam Ali College], and sports teams, gave a report and I gave a plaque of appreciation and gave a speech about education, sports, and the large immigrant population of Shahriar.  Mr. [Alireza] Saffarian, the head of Mr. [Mehdi] Karroubi's office, came and gave an analysis of the deteriorating situation in the country and asked me to help solve the problem of unemployment, foreign policy, the problem with the United States, the pressure on national-religious people, and the development of tourism.

Mr. [Mohammadreza] Bahmei, the former representative of [Ramhormoz], came and said, "In order to solve the problems, there is no choice but to be active." In the evening, Mr. Hamed Marashi came and said that they wanted to replace Dr. [Alireza] Bahrampour, [the CEO of the telecommunications company], because he had prevented the misconduct of the contractors. Mr. Bahrampour and Dr. [Abolhassan] Firouzabadi, the technical deputy of the [Ministry] of Intelligence, came. They had articles about satellites and fiber optics, the weaknesses of the government, and the stagnation of construction.
