I arrived at the parliament at half past nine in the morning. Office work and reading reports were done until noon. Mr. [Abdelvahid] Mousavi Lari [Tehran's representative] came. He asked questions about the trip to the Soviet Union and travel plans and companions from the parliament and non-parliament; I explained the work policy.

I told Mr. Saeed al-Zhakrin [Head of Public Relations] to form the secretariat of the [Constitutional] Revision Council. I slept for two hours. At the general meeting of the revision council, several members spoke about leadership. I also spoke briefly. The words were good and in the same direction. Usually, it was in the direction of the absence of the necessity of authority and the necessity of ijtihad, justice and the power of management. Finally, the commissions held a meeting. Our commission was formed and the board of directors and work program were determined. I am the chairman of the commission. The first meeting is Thursday evening. I had Iftar in my office and did the work until nine o'clock.

I participated in the meeting of the Expediency Council. The official of statistics proposed punishments for violations in documents and facilities and gave explanations. The continuation of the discussion was postponed to the next meeting. [Mr. Abdul Hossein Wahaji] Acting Minister of Commerce gave a report on the progress of the price control work. He complained about the disruption of the press, especially Kihan and Resalat newspapers. We decided to follow up. Part of the regulations related to the concentration of information was also approved. I arrived home at half past ten at night.
