After prayer, I did my office work until half past seven in the morning. I stayed in the public meeting only until reading the Quran. Belatedly, the meeting started. I went to Azadi Hotel to open the Islamic banking seminar. I talked for half an hour. I returned to the parliament.

In the afternoon, Mr. [Abdel Ali] Ghanbari, the representative [of the mayor] came. He complained about the way the IRGC treated him and asked for financial assistance for the martyr's family. Mr. [Syed Hossein] Mousaviyan came. Regarding Mr. Qaiser's benefits, he explained that there was a mistake in the previous verdict. In the evening, the chairman of the parliament had a meeting. Mr. Kongerlo came. He reported on the continuation of dealings with the Americans regarding the Lebanese hostages.

At night, we were guests of Ahmad Agha with other heads of forces. The group of doctors treating Imam came and agreed that it is better to bring a doctor from abroad for angiography and possibly heart surgery. Imam participated in our meeting. We shared with them. They were not against the doctor's arrival, but they were against the heart operation at first. They accepted with the explanations that were given. It was decided that a doctor would be invited by the Shahid Foundation.

We discussed America's insistence on renewing relations with Iran. They spoke against and in favor. We did not reach the result. It was decided to discuss in the next meetings and negotiate with the Imam. There was a discussion about the high price and shortage of goods due to the shortage of currency. It was decided to establish a law regarding the pricing of goods and the punishment of high street sellers and monopolists. I came home late.
