I reached the parliament at half past seven in the morning. Before the order, I talked about Imam's statements yesterday. I emphasized on the unity and participation of people in cultural affairs and schools and universities. The representatives protested against the disrespect of Beit Imam officials yesterday.

[Mr. Mohammad Bagher Bahrami] the representative of Asadabad came. He explained the bombing of Asadabad telecommunication center and apologized to the defense officials. I came to my office at half past ten. The commanders of the naval and air forces and the oil minister came. We made a decision about the protection of oil vessels in the Persian Gulf. We decided to carry out the retaliation that we have stopped for two or three weeks.

Mr. Prime Minister asked on the phone that I agree to spend ten million dollars from the war zone to buy telecommunications devices to provide telecommunications in case Asadabad [telecommunications center] fails.

In the afternoon, Akhvi Mohammad [head of the Broadcasting Organization] came. I talked about the delivery of satellite TV facilities to the telecommunications company. Apparently, there is not much destruction. We asked the representative of Asadabad. He said that they can completely launch Asadabad. It was decided to do more research.

In the afternoon, we had interviews with domestic and foreign journalists. I answered their questions about the war and parliament and... In the evening, Mr. Azimi, a member of my office who is at the front, came. It is claimed that good students are not used. I warned Mr. Rezaei.

I participated in the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. The discussion was about attracting professors and scientists. It was decided to establish an office related to the council inside and outside for this purpose. [Mr. Seyyed Kazem Akrami] Minister of Education has accepted Imam's statements and surrendered. I discussed the war with Mr. President.

I came to the parliament at night and stayed. Mr. Tarabi [the head of the Imam's advisory office in the army] informed that our photography plane had probably crashed. We only had one camera that airplanes use to take pictures.
