At noon, I had several meetings in my office. In the afternoon, at the President's office, we discussed inflation with the Economic Council. We increased the foreign currency allocation for industries to import goods and increase production. We also discussed liberalizing imports, and it was postponed to the next meeting.
After breaking the fast, I spoke briefly with Mr. [the President] and [Mr. Mousavi Ardabili], the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Mr. [Mousavi] Ardabili reported that within the next few days, several cases would go to court, and some deputy ministers of commerce would also be implicated. At night, I went to Parliament. I read the reports and went to bed late.
