Most of the book is a critique of Marxism and Marxist countries, and before publication it needs to be reviewed carefully. I myself had doubts about publishing it, but the officials of these two publications insist on it and consider it advisable.
They informed me that [Mr. Rabeh Beitat], the Speaker of the Algerian Parliament, is coming to Iran at the head of a delegation; we had invited him earlier. It is in response to my trip to Algeria. I told the public relations office and my office to coordinate the schedule of meetings and work with the Foreign Ministry.
Mr. [Mohammad] Gharazi came, and we talked about the price of oil. Our policy is that the price should not fall; if necessary, OPEC production should be reduced, and we too should reduce our production according to our share. He also agreed, and it was decided that we would support him in this effort. I also spoke with Mr. Khamenei by phone, and he agreed as well.
