I did the work till night. At six o'clock I attended the meeting of the government board. Due to the budget discussion in the parliament and the busyness of the ministers, we have postponed the meeting after Maghrib and Isha prayers. A decision was made regarding the import of wheat and allowing the import of bananas in exchange for the export of additional citrus fruits.
Ayatollah Khamenei was my guest that night. We negotiated about Tajikistan, Afghanistan and his trip to Kish - which they are very satisfied with - and the issues of the islands [Big and Small Abu Musi and Tunb] and we accepted the policy of delaying negotiations and buying time. Then the pool of the [Presidential] institution was visited. They were supposed to use it too.
