I was studying and reading reports in my office in the parliament until eight o'clock in the morning. Mr. [Hadi] Fiqhi Imam Juma came to Birjand; He had brought the aid collected for the front. Usually, Friday imams bring people's help when meeting with the heads of the country. He complained about the dualism of the clergy in Birjand and considered the appointment of Mr. [Vaez] Tabasi as a representative unnecessary.

Mr. [Ali] Shamkhani came; He talked about Lebanon, the fronts and future work on the front, Lebanese issues, the Ramadan camp, etc., and consulted with me. Officials of the country's cooperatives came. I talked about the goals of the cooperative and its value for them.

Allameh Sheikh [Mohammed Mehdi] Shamsuddin Naib, the Vice President of the Supreme Islamic Majlis of the Shiites of Lebanon came. He consulted about the quality of the plan of Islamic campaigns in Lebanon. The rights of the majority of Lebanese society - which are Muslims - are supposed to be pursued. He also consulted about traveling to France and the Vatican and dealing with Christians and Palestinians and the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, asking for help and requesting a meeting with the Imam.

I met with parliament employees and spoke to them. The members of the party's student unit came; I spoke to them in detail. In the evening, a meeting of the chairmanship of the parliament was held. We were guests of the Prime Minister that night; There was a discussion about the movements of Hezbollah motorcyclists in the streets and their encounters with unruly people - which has increased these days. It was decided to prevent their action without criticizing them sharply; Because an unsigned announcement calling for demonstrations against the war has been distributed, and it may be necessary for Hezbollah forces to be on the streets on Saturday. Of course, they usually make such gestures once or more a year and expect the authorities to deal severely with moral indiscipline. The war, opposition behavior of the freedom movement and foreign radios were also discussed.

I came home late. Contrary to the previous procedure, the Guardian Council has rejected the resolution of the Parliament regarding the six-month extension of the mandate of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, and has caused discomfort to the flow of extremists. This opinion of the Guardian Council is considered political.
