 Today, Ayatollah Khamenei responded to a letter from parliamentarians asking for help in resolving their differences with the judiciary, but in a way that is of no benefit to the parliamentarians and is somewhat beneficial to the judiciary, because it has been said that everyone must obey the law and that the parliament and the judiciary should respect each other and not cause controversy. The law is clear, and if they have ambiguities, they should refer to the legal authority – the Guardian Council – which the representatives do not like.  

Mr. [Mohsen] Nariman, the representative of Babol, who had come to discuss some of the resolutions referred to the Expediency Council, said that the parliamentarians were discouraged after hearing the Supreme Leader's response, and that in the closed session they held today, the protests were the same as the previous Wednesday.  

A group of managers, educators, and those in charge of educational affairs came before. They strongly criticized the merger of the Deputy of Education [of the Ministry of Education] with the Deputy of Education, and considered it a political measure to exclude the committed religious forces that are gathered in the educational sector. They put forward an article on the Internet that was published on the website of an Iranian counter-revolution in August of this year, and it insulted the educators

 ‍The members of the [legal and] judicial] commission came in support of the Expediency Council, and they are important personalities who are advisors to the Supreme Court, university professors, and lawyers. They consulted on the general policies of the realization of public rights and the prevention of crimes, and the Judicial Commission of the Assembly asked them to write within the limits of judicial affairs, but I said that they should write comprehensively. 
In the evening, the Central Council of the Coalition Committee came. Mr. [Habibollah] Askaroladi, [Secretary General of the Islamic Coalition Party], reported on the holding of the Sixth General Assembly, and I spoke about the importance of trying to establish the rule of Islam in the evolutionary process of this movement in contemporary history, and the necessity of paying attention to the living needs of the people and the youth and constructively in the Party's programs.  

More than 200 people have been killed in a fire in Bolivia. The same number of people have been killed during Christmas celebrations. In the Australian bushfires, which have been going on for more than a week, a large area of forest has been destroyed, putting a lot of pressure on the people of Sydney, and the government is unable to extinguish it.
