Following an invitation from Seyyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi for iftar, Hashemi Rafsanjani, along with Seyyed Mohammad Khatami and Mehdi Karroubi, responded to his invitation by attending the iftar gathering.

Report by Sheikh Abbasali Alizadeh regarding the court case of those associated with the Berlin Conference, and the summons of Mohammad Salami to court concerning his statements in the debate with Mohammad-Reza Bahonar, alongside a report by Sheikh Mohammad Niazi regarding the so-called serial killings in this gathering.

Full Entry of the Day:

I spent the day studying at home, focusing on the script of "The Revolution Alone" and the contracts of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with the Jews of Medina, as well as analyzing the perspectives of the Martyrs' Society regarding the performance of Mr. Seyyed Mohammad Khatami's government, which has been largely evaluated negatively and regressive in most areas.

In the evening, we were guests of Mr. Seyyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi, the head of the judiciary, at the Hafezieh. Mr. Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, the President, and Mr. Mehdi Karroubi, the Speaker of Parliament, as well as judicial officials, were present. I led the congregational prayer, and we broke our fast. Messrs. Abbasali Alizadeh, head of the Tehran Justice Department, and Mohammad Niazi, head of the Judicial Organization of Armed Forces, discussed the court case of those involved in the Berlin Conference, the serial killings, and the summons of Mr. Mohammad Salami, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Iranian People's Mojahedin.

Despite Israel's severe restrictions, similar to previous Fridays, a congregational prayer was held at Al-Aqsa Mosque with around 40,000 Muslims attending, and today, five individuals were martyred during the intifada; yesterday, seven martyrs were reported. In China, in Shandong Province, Muslims in a village protested against the sale of "Islamic pork" and clashed with the police, resulting in five deaths and 40 injuries, provoking widespread protests among Chinese Muslims, as Islam considers pork haram (forbidden) and impure, and such an announcement is regarded as an insult.
