Full Text of the Daily Notes:

This morning, for the 12th of Bahman, marking Imam Khomeini's return to Iran after years of exile, we went to the Imam’s mausoleum. Hassan Khomeini welcomed us and gave a brief speech. I delivered a detailed lecture on the significance of the 12th and 22nd of Bahman, highlighting important moments of the revolution in both form and content.

Mr. Majid Ansari, head of the Consolidation of Budget and Planning Commission, reported a serious altercation in the commission between representatives Akbar Alami and Rojab Ali Mazroui, both known for their leftist tendencies, which has created a hostile atmosphere in the Majlis. Two days ago, a group of representatives clashed with the leadership, particularly with Mr. Mehdi Karroubi, the Speaker of the Majlis, leading to the resignation of Ismail Jabbarzadeh from the leadership team.

Two conflicting statements have been issued regarding the judiciary from the Majlis, with the majority condemning the behavior of the courts and the minority supporting the Tehran judiciary. The discussion surrounding the serial murders trial, the Berlin conference, press directors, and Mostafa Tajzadeh, the political deputy of the Ministry of Interior, has turned harsh and contentious. Foreign media have been actively undermining the judiciary.

In the afternoon, Mr. Mahmoud Amjad, a cleric from Tehran, explained his promotional activities and requested copies of my interpretation books.

Rumors regarding an agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority have emerged, with both sides denying parts of the claims.

In Indonesia, tensions are escalating, with the army threatening to intervene, urging political factions to cease conflicts and focus on reforming the country. In the Turkish parliament, which often sees disputes, a recent confrontation resulted in the death of one representative. The international court has acquitted one Libyan national and sentenced another to life imprisonment; this has reportedly made Libyans regret their decision to extradite two suspects in the Lockerbie bombing. The U.S. has stated that sanctions will continue.
