The Infrastructure Commission of the Expediency Council held a meeting to discuss financial resources for the housing sector. The discussion expanded to encompass the overall financial resources of the country and the shares of various sectors, but remained unfinished. In the evening, Mr. Ali Abdullahian, the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, visited. He mentioned that most reasonable individuals in the right-wing have come to understand that your policies are appropriate for the country and the revolution, recognizing the correct path, albeit with some delay. I hosted the iftar for the secretariat staff and their families. As usual, I welcomed everyone but did not speak further.

The U.S. presidential elections have entered a new phase of tension with the latest court rulings in Florida, which will continue for a few more days. It was announced today that the Israelis have used chemical gases against the Palestinian people. Mr. Hassan Danaee Far, Head of the Support Staff for Palestine, requested that I visit 14 injured Palestinians who have recently come to Iran for treatment. He mentioned that 75 tons of essential supplies have been sent to them so far.
