While some risk might have existed and been mitigated through preventive measures, the only reports of issues were from two nuclear power plants in Japan, which could have been due to other causes. The International Computer Incident Response Team, established by the UN a year earlier, had provided assistance to countries, including Iran, which they claimed hadn't taken sufficient preventive measures.
