Footnote on the memoirs of Hashemi Rafsanjani, April 15, 2000

As I wrote earlier in Abdi Media; Saeed Hajjarian's assassination team were young people from Ray city in the south of Tehran who were related and had the same thoughts and had been planning and organizing their work for some time.

Although in Mr. Hashemi Rafsanjani's diaries, there are general references to the military records and their being monitored by IRGC intelligence protection up to Sardar Morteza Rezaei, IRGC time protection command and other authorities, but the details and the records before and after those people even until now; It is not clear except for a little that is related to Saeed Askar, and this means that the elders of both political spectrums may not be willing to publish more details with hints.

One of those members of the assassination team named Mohammad Ali Moghadami had already gone to the electoral headquarters of the reformists and without having any intellectual affinity with them, he had received a written order from them to work in the headquarters, which was probably part of the planning for assassination and infiltration among them.

A few days before the assassination, Moghadami had gone to the Tehran City Council and received a letter of recommendation from a member of the council, Ahmad Hakimipour, and a member of Hajjarian's party, to be used in the larger puzzle plan of the assassination.

It is appropriate for Mr. Hakimipour to tell the details of the matter as a supplement to Mr. Hashemi's memoirs.

The line of thought and the goal, but also the other possible goals of the assassination team, were completely clear and confirmed for the first two interrogation teams in the IRGC and the second team in the Ministry of Intelligence.

But in order to reduce the heavy pressure of public opinion, the right-wing spectrum media were tasked to bring up Hakimipour's connection with terror in such a way that there was concern, planning, and determination at the level of the country's senior leaders, including the judiciary, which you read in Hashemi's previous days' journals. , which led to the arrest and interrogation of Hakimipour.

The truth is that Hakimipour really had nothing to do with terror and the terrorists who wanted to eliminate the mastermind of the reformers, and he was released sometime later.

Abdollah Abdi
