A few minutes ago, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 at a depth of 8 kilometers shook Rudbar Gilan. 

In 1989, this area had a 7.2-magnitude earthquake, which caused financial losses and casualties up to a radius of 100 kilometers.
