In response to the news of the suicide of Ebrahim Nabavi, an Iranian journalist and satirist, Abbas Abdi wrote on the Ayandeh Telegram channel:
Tonight at 12:00 p.m., I was given the unfortunate news of the unintentional death of Ebrahim Nabavi. I was stunned. I was very sorry. He was a unique figure in satire, writing, and journalism in Iran, and he advanced the level and depth of satire by several steps.
Perhaps because of his satirical writings, some people did not pay much attention to the depth of his spirit. He had his own independent political and literary personality and spoke honestly and did not eat bread at the rate of the day, as he said 10 years ago: "The reason I want to return is that I want to focus on my lasting and fundamental work, including literary research on the history of satire
Unfortunately, the forces that have their hearts attached to this land and do not like to get involved in the political games on the other side of the water are subjected to political pressure and rejection and are driven out of here. The government and the government should think seriously about these people.
