The ruler is obligated to regard the questioning of their actions as a legal matter and must be willing to respond and admit to mistakes. An Islamic ruler should dispel any accusations of injustice and ulterior motives made by the people against them. If the public harbors suspicions of wrongdoing or oppression regarding the ruler, the ruler must clarify their position or actions that have led to such doubts and eliminate any unfounded suspicions from the minds of the people.
