In recent weeks, frequent and unplanned power outages in cities around Tehran, including Varamin, Pishva, Qarchak, Robat Karim, Baharistan, Pardis, and Fashafuyeh, have severely disrupted the daily lives of citizens.

These blackouts, which sometimes occur without prior notice and beyond the announced schedule, have not only sparked public discontent, but have also caused serious damage to businesses, agriculture and even education, while some areas of the capital have been spared from these blackouts, with residents of surrounding towns strongly criticizing what they call "discrimination in the distribution of electricity".

In Varamin, Pishva, and Qarchak, Ali Khazaei, a member of parliament, has asked the Minister of Energy in a harsh tone to explain to the people why the electricity to homes, agricultural fields, and even schools is cut off.
