In an interview with Tasnim, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said about the publication of some claims about the start of indirect talks between Iran and the United States, saying: "We do not accept the offer of direct talks for the reasons that have been repeatedly stated, but we are ready for indirect talks through Oman."
He said: "The ball is now in the court of the United States to respond to the Islamic Republic's proposal, although we are not in a hurry."
Regarding some of the names that are being put forward about the negotiators, Araghchi said: "None of the speculations that are being made are correct, but it is certain that the responsibility for possible negotiations with the Foreign Ministry and its management will be with the Foreign Minister."
