The two mentioned journalists, who were sentenced to one year in prison on the charge of "propaganda activity against the regime" and to five years in prison on the charge of "community and collusion against the security of the country", were acquitted of the charge of "cooperation with the hostile American government" in the appeals court.
According to the issued verdict, severe punishment (five years imprisonment) will be applied to these people. Their case has been sent to the relevant authorities to implement the final verdict.
