Shahab-ud-Din Haeri-Shirazi

"Our delusional rulers, who constantly boast about independence and dignity, should look at how Saudi Arabia managed to rally not only Islamic countries but also Arab nations to support Palestine and Gaza.

Without undermining its economy with unrealistic support for Palestine or raising anti-American slogans, Saudi Arabia experienced the highest economic growth in recent years, while avoiding sanctions.

At a time when we were sending missiles and weapons to Gaza—now becoming a burden for them—Saudi Arabia supported the two-state solution for Palestine, which could have relatively resolved the crisis without so much bloodshed.

Now, what have we managed to do for the suffering people of Gaza, and what has Saudi Arabia done?

While we kept cursing, they, using their political and economic position, brought the heads of Arab and Muslim countries together under one roof for Palestine.

If Iran had invited Arab and Muslim leaders to such a summit in Tehran, how many countries would have participated at the highest level? Sanctioned Iran!"
