Ghalibaf: No girl under the age of 18 will even be summoned or taken to the police station in the hijab bill!
Mahmoodzadeh: In Clause 4 of Article 46 of this bill, students are mentioned; are students not under the age of 18!?

In a part of his opposition to the consideration and approval of the Hijab and Chastity Bill, Jalal Mahmoodzadeh addressed the Speaker of the Parliament, stating: "You have sworn to be impartial; as the Speaker, you cannot express your support for this bill according to the law. You said there is no requirement for summoning or detaining underage girls, yet in Clause 4 of Article 46, students are mentioned. Are students not under the age of 18?"

According to Clauses 4 and 5 of Article 46 of the Hijab and Chastity Bill, those who commit improper dressing or uncovering their hair, or do not adhere to the Islamic hijab, will be dealt with by the disciplinary committee of the relevant educational center after three violations, and disciplinary regulations will be applied. On the fourth offense, they will be referred to the disciplinary committee or the security office of the educational center for enforcement of the provisions of this law!
