The Western media is talking about Iran's costs in Syria, but this decision was a national security necessity for us. Iran, Russia, Iraq, and Syria all faced a common threat; reason dictated that we cooperate in the fight against terrorism.
What was the result? We suppressed the enemy before we reached our borders, we strengthened the security of the region, and we showed that the right decision means investing in national security.
