رئیس #قوه‌قضائیه: بیش از ۸۰ هزار نفر از بازداشتی‌های اعتراضات پاییز عفو شدند

Gholamhossein Mohseni Ajieh:

A very high percentage of these people who came on the street and maybe shouted slogans or did something, said that we had a protest, we were criticizing, we thought that now we can express our protest and criticism in this way.

This amnesty was not a general amnesty as some interpreted. Because general amnesty has one definition according to the constitution and regulations.

This time, we said that all those who were present in the riots and now say that we made a mistake and are sorry, should be released.

The number of those who were granted amnesty, including those arrested for riots and non-riots, has exceeded eighty thousand people.

It may even reach above ninety thousand.

There is no requirement that the person they want to pardon must be sentenced first before pardoning him.

The jurist can pardon a person either after the sentence has been finalized or even when the sentence has not yet been issued and he is under suspicion.

Please pay more attention to my previous note about the new heresy in pardoning the accused and closing the accusation case by the leader of the Islamic Republic and today's answer from Mohseni Ajieh.
