Amir Raeesian Announced the Acquittal of Elnaz Mohammadi on Charges of Collaboration with Hostile Governments and the Issuance of Three-Year Suspended Prison Sentences for Elnaz Mohammadi and Negin Bagheri, Journalists of *Ham-Mihan* and *Haft-e Sobh* Newspapers, on Charges of Conspiracy Against National Security.

Amir Raeisian said: "The case of my client, Ms. Elnaz Mohammadi, which involved two charges—collusion to commit a crime and cooperation with hostile foreign governments—was referred to Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court. After reviewing the charges, the court acquitted my client due to the lack of evidence and proof of the crime for the charge of cooperation with hostile foreign governments. However, my client and Ms. Negin Bagheri, who were represented by Ms. Borhanpour and Mr. Kamfirouzi, were convicted of collusion and sentenced to three years of imprisonment, of which only one-fortieth is enforceable, and the remainder is suspended for five years."

"During the five-year suspension period, the defendants must, first, participate in a professional ethics training course for journalists every quarter under the coordination and supervision of the Intelligence Ministry’s officers. Second, they are banned from leaving the country during these five years. Third, they are prohibited from engaging in professional activities related to the committed crime and from using any associated tools, as well as from contacting or socializing with individuals employed by or connected to foreign media." /Ham Mihan
