On Thursday, July 20, government media published a video of a confrontation between a woman wearing an optional veil and a hijab instructor who is filming. Alborz Police Command announced in a statement: "A video of this lady was taken by non-judicial officers and circulated on social networks, which is against the regulations. "The police introduced this person to the judicial authorities in order to discover hijab, harassment and aggression, and also ordered those who published the video on social networks to be followed up and introduced to the legal authorities."
