By the order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Dr. Sheikh Abdolmajid Hakim Elahi became the representative of the Supreme Leader in religious affairs in India.

The farewell ceremony of the former and new representative of the Supreme Leader in India was held on Friday in the presence of the deputy for international affairs of Ayatollah Khamenei's office.

By the order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Dr. Sheikh Abdolmajid Hakim Elahi became the representative of the Supreme Leader in religious affairs in India.

Sheikh Mahdavipour has been his direct representative in India since 2010 by the decree of Ayatollah Khamenei.
