Following the stringent reactions of the judiciary structure towards the civil advocacy institution and the issuance of a verdict by the Disciplinary Court of Judges to question the leadership of the "Supreme Union of Iranian Bar Associations," the judiciary then issued a directive to prevent the holding of "SCOODA" elections. This was met with responses from defense lawyers and organizers who, with the intervention of "Faraja" and through threats, indicated a lack of cooperation from the heads of the lawyers' associations. Subsequently, complaints were filed by lawyer "Farsheed Farahnaki", who had long pursued high-priced complaints against "SCOODA". At this juncture, the absence of their governmental disciplinary organization condemned them.

Additionally, there have been other restrictions imposed on the advocacy institution and its structures within the country.

Ultimately, the path for negotiation with the authorities, especially "Sheikh Gholamhossein Mahseni Ejha'i," was cleared. To prevent more severe repercussions, the community of lawyers selected five defense lawyers in the capacity of presidents of the central bar associations as negotiators with the judiciary.

However, it remains to be seen how the Islamic Republic, represented by "Sheikh Gholamhossein Mahseni Ejha'i," will conduct itself in these negotiations.

A bit more patience is required.
