In accordance with the measures of Ayatollah Khamenei and the follow-ups by the government and the Constitutional Law Commission, the import of all models of iPhones has been banned, unless this directive is officially amended.

I have previously mentioned: When it is possible to use an iPhone without registering it via Wi-Fi or a modem, or by connecting to another mobile phone's internet (hotspot), particularly for activating the Apple ID and using iMessage and FaceTime, is the Islamic Republic really losing out on the substantial customs revenue from it, or are the owners losing out? 

Furthermore, it seems that the intelligence agencies of the Islamic Republic are no longer concerned that an iPhone can function without a SIM card and without registration, solely by using the Apple ID and accessing FaceTime and iMessage.
