عراقچی: باید برای همه روشن شود که اصولاً چیزی به نام «گزینه نظامی» وجود ندارد، چه رسد به «راه حل نظامی»

The U.S. president may not be interested in the 2015 nuclear deal. But that deal does include a key commitment from Iran

Iran's Foreign Minister wrote on the X social network

The U.S. president may not be interested in the 2015 nuclear deal. But that deal contains a key commitment from Iran that remains in place, and even the United States, which is outside the deal, has benefited from:

Iran reiterates that it will never, under any circumstances, seek to seek, produce or acquire a nuclear weapon.

Ten years after the JCPOA was signed—and seven years after the U.S. unilaterally withdrew from it—there is not even the slightest evidence that Iran has violated this commitment. Even Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, recently acknowledged this.

Diplomatic engagement has shown its effectiveness in the past and can still work. However, it should be clear to everyone that there is no such thing as a "military option" at all, let alone a "military solution."

The catastrophic failures in our region, which cost more than $7 trillion to previous U.S. administrations, are telling enough.
